Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Missouri | August/September Start

One of our partnering facilities in Missouri is seeking locums Orthopedic Surgery coverage starting August or September and ongoing. Coverage will be mix of clinic and hospital call between 2 hospitals. If you have an active Missouri or IMLC license, please apply!

Scope of Work:
--Mix of office and hospital call coverage 
--Clinic Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
--General ortho and joints with some call
--Practice is 100% adults
--40% office/clinic and 60% hospital
--Procedures: general Ortho surgical and non-surgical required, arthroscopy, total joint including hip and knee,  tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
--No spinal surgery or hands required 
--Preferred procedures (but not required): joint revision or repair of shoulder hip and knee,

Schedule and Call:
--Start: ASAP, late-August and ongoing
--Call rotation: 1:6
--Five days of call per month
--Will be covering two hospitals
--One hospital has 25 surgeries per month in call group, 2nd hospital has 11 surgeries per month

Details/Requirements:
--Advanced Hip and Knee and Shoulder Center of Excellence
--Lab and X-Ray on site
--No robotics
--Two mid-levels, 14 other physicians in group
--Ancillary fully staffed
--25 exam rooms
--EMR: EPIC
--Beds Hospital 1: 497 and beds hospital 2: 329
--Hospital 2 is Level 2 trauma center
--Board Certified required or residency trained and board eligible 
--BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required 
--Missouri license or IMLC required
