Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in New Mexico | Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call | Beginning March – Ongoing | Assignment #113384

Coverage Details
-- March – Ongoing
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days (Temp privileging available)

Shift Details
-- 3 clinic days and 2 OR days weekly (dependent on procedural volume)
-- 7 on / 7 off call rotation (FT ortho provider follows the same schedule)
-- Every-other-week call coverage required

Call Details
-- 30-minute response time
-- 100% call ratio
-- Avg call per 24 hour: 3 admissions; assigned patients only
-- Minimal callback per call shift; most admissions handled by hospitalists

Requirements
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- New Mexico license required

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
-- Support staff: RN (2), MA (2), PA/NP (2), Office Staff (2)
-- Patients per shift: 3
-- Trauma Level: 3
-- Trauma and hand experience both a plus
-- 20–25 patients per day in clinic (clinic is not every day)
-- Admissions required
-- Full clinic staff and anesthesia support available
-- EMR: Medhost
