- Call only -- 9 shifts per month with 1-2 weekends
- Average 10 orthopedic inpatients, 6 patients per shift
- 15-minute response time, 30 minutes to reach facility if needed
- Level 3 call coverage required, must perform hip fractures
- ED coverage for orthopedic emergencies and joint replacements
- Average 5 phone consults per 24-hour period
- Hospital privileges required
- Callback ranges from zero to 2-4 hours
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
- Competitive compensation
