This 537-bed acute care facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center, providing comprehensive orthopedic surgical services to its patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic coverage. Clinical operations are structured to ensure continuity of quality surgical care delivery.

The Philadelphia region and its surrounding areas offer a range of attractions suited to varied interests. Historic sites such as Independence Hall and Eastern State Penitentiary, as well as family-friendly destinations including Sesame Place, are accessible within the area. The orthopedic surgeon will provide call coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings at a 537-bed Level 1 trauma center acute care facility. Clinical responsibilities include performing arthroscopy, joint revision or repair, total joint replacement, and peripheral nerve surgery procedures. Call coverage is required as part of this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is negotiable for this position.
