Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Eastern Texas | Seeking Weekend Call Starting in April 2026 & Ongoing

Jackson & Coker’s valued client in eastern TX is seeking Orthopedic Surgery 24-hour call coverage starting mid-April and ongoing. Coverage will be on a sporadic basis once credentialed, with specific dates finalized closer to the start. They’re looking for a flexible surgeon available for weekend stretches (Friday 5pm–Monday 7am) as needed. Would you be available?

Job Requirements for Assignment #112936:
* Active Texas medical license required 
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility within five years
* Weekend call coverage - Friday 7am-Monday 5pm
* Starts ASAP upon credentialing - likely mid-April 2026 start
* Will have support staff in the hospital 
* Facility details: designated level 3 trauma, 250+ bed facility, Epic EMR, easy location to travel into (international airports within an hour of the facility) 
* Can anticipate between 5-7 patients/per day in the hospital 
* Will be required to complete daily patient rounding, assist with emergent procedures + see ED consults
* Required procedures: I&D, all extremity fractures that require immediate/urgent fixation, ED call coverages
