Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a hospital-employed practice in Port Arthur to recruit a second Orthopedic Surgeon. This is a high-demand opportunity with strong hospital support, growing infrastructure, and immediate case volume in a community that needs expanded orthopedic services.
The hospital welcomed a full-time orthopedic surgeon in January 2026 and is actively expanding its orthopedic clinic. Leadership is committed to strengthening the service line and adding a second surgeon to support growth and establish a stable, sustainable call rotation.
Practice Details:
- Hospital-employed position
- Market-leading base compensation plus wRVU bonus
- Traditional practice model: clinic + surgery + inpatient consults
- Newly developing orthopedic clinic
- Broad case mix: total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), general orthopedics, and sports-related procedures welcomed
- Current employed surgeon practicing general orthopedics
- Strong opportunity to develop a total joint focus
- Call projected at approximately 12 days per month among employed surgeons
- Local orthopedic surgeon assisting with approximately 1 week of call coverage
- Immediate volume available with strong community demand
