The selected candidate will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team and work closely with internationally recognized physician leaders in pediatric cardiac care. What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac surgery.
- Work collaboratively within a team-based, multidisciplinary care model.
- Participate regularly in the education and training of medical students and residents.
- Engage in program development and clinical research initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic residency program or international equivalent.
- Meets applicable credentialing and privileging standards.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license (or has completed all steps of the USMLE prior to starting the role).
- Eligible for faculty appointment in the (Login for Information).
- A self-starter with a commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic growth.
- Experience caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease
