Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system, affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC microsurgery fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with expertise in breast microsurgery, to join our dynamic practice in our Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at (Login for Information) and community hospitals.

SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship training program, and partners with Stanford University SOM and Stanford Healthcare for the clinical training of medical students, residents, and fellows. SCVMC is an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA-verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and a nationally recognized CARF-accredited Rehabilitation Center. Owing to its geographic location and specialty offerings, SCVMC not only serves the County, but also the larger region.
O’Connor Hospital (OCH) was founded in 1889 as one of the first hospitals in Santa Clara County. Whether for the birth of a baby or a life-saving surgery, our reputation for medical excellence, superior skill, and advanced technology precedes us. OCH hosts a joint Family Medicine residency and a sports medicine training programs with Stanford. OCH also serves as a rotation site for medical students from Stanford and other schools.

About the Position
The exceptional microsurgery fellowship-trained plastic surgeon with expertise in breast microsurgery will have the opportunity to step into a thriving practice on day 1—with a full schedule, strong referral network, and infrastructure to support the highest-level clinical work. The Microsurgery, Breast surgeon will:
- Perform advanced breast reconstruction procedures including oncoplastic, autologous, and implant-based techniques
- Manage breast cancer patients in close collaboration with breast surgery, oncology, and radiation oncology teams through well-established tumor board.
- Provide gender affirming top surgery as part of a thorough and thoughtful gender health care team
- Provide general plastic surgery comprehensive care for patients seeking breast reduction, body contouring, abdominal wall reconstruction, skin cancer resection and reconstruction
- Share plastic surgery and facial trauma call coverage, including acute craniofacial and soft tissue reconstruction.
- Serve as an attending surgeon for Stanford University plastic surgery residents, providing mentorship, operative teaching, and didactic instruction.
