Long Island, NY Reconstructive & Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon Opportunity!!
Location:  Long Island area of New York

Opportunity Overview
An outstanding opportunity is available for a Plastic Surgeon, newly trained or experienced, to join an established surgeon within a high-volume, Center of Excellence surgical program on Long Island.
This position offers immediate access to a large, established patient population with significant demand for both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, including a strong and growing volume of post-bariatric body contouring cases.
The practice is fully integrated within a multidisciplinary surgical group, providing a strong referral network and immediate case volume across reconstructive and aesthetic domains.

Group Overview
The physician group consists of five surgeons with a broad and highly collaborative surgical platform, including:
One additional Plastic Surgeon 
Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery 
Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery 
Complex General Surgery 
Robotic Surgery 
Endoscopic Surgery and Advanced Endoscopic Procedures 
Comprehensive Bariatric Surgical Services
This integrated model supports a high-volume, coordinated care environment with strong internal referral patterns between bariatric, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgical services.

Clinical Focus: Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery
This role emphasizes a full spectrum of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a significant volume of post-massive weight loss body contouring.

Core Surgical Case Mix
Abdominal Contouring
Abdominoplasty with rectus plication 
Panniculectomy 
Lower body lift (belt lipectomy) 
Liposuction (adjunct or standalone contouring)
Extremity Contouring
Brachioplasty (arm lift) 
Thigh lift
Breast Surgery
Reduction mammoplasty (including gynecomastia) 
Breast augmentation (implant or fat transfer) 
Mastopexy (breast lift) 
Breast revision surgery 
Breast reconstruction
Facial Aesthetic Surgery & Non-Surgical Services
Facelift and neck lift 
Blepharoplasty 
Botox and neuromodulators

Candidate Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution 
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency via one of the following pathways: 
Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency (typically 6 years total), or 
Independent pathway: 5-year ACGME General Surgery residency followed by 2–3 years of Plastic Surgery training
Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) 
Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in New York State 
Completion of all required USMLE and/or COMLEX examinations 
Strong commitment to reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, with emphasis on body contouring (post-bariatric experience preferred)
