A health system is seeking a thoracic surgery nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in western Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe facility is seeking both MD and APP coverage for Thoracic Surgery with no cardiac cases required. Candidates with robotic skills and experience in esophageal and cancer surgery are preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1:3 call ratio. Providers will cover all campuses for emergent consults and clinic, with clinic days typically separate from OR days. Assignments may rotate between campuses, and call coverage applies across all locations. Procedures include lung cancer surgery, lung cancer treatments, robotic bronchoscopy, and thoracic surgery.
