This comprehensive care facility operates as a Level I trauma center with advanced trauma services and approximately 50 emergency department beds. The facility supports complex thoracic surgical procedures with modern equipment and dedicated surgical teams.

The thoracic surgeon will provide comprehensive inpatient thoracic surgery services including chest tube insertion, open and thoracoscopic general thoracic procedures, and foregut surgeries. The position requires 24-hour call coverage with board certification mandatory for credentialing. The clinician will work on-site managing surgical cases with a caseload of 6-12 procedures per day. Prescriptive authority and call coverage responsibilities will be integral to the role.
