Seeking an experienced, dynamic Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Work Assignment will be approximately 70% clinical, 10% Teaching, 20% Research

The ideal candidate should be a proven successful leader with on-going transformational practice innovation and the ability to build relationships.

This individual will join an established abdominal organ transplant program and have a proven track record in all aspects of the liver transplantation process, including significant organ donor experience, while playing an integral role in the continued growth of the program.

This recruitment will be essential in a strategic effort to expand our liver transplant program in the region.

Fellowship training in an ASTS accredited abdominal transplantation program and board certification in general surgery are required.

Additional surgical skills and interests in areas outside of transplantation are desirable.

Opportunities to participate in the training of surgical residents and clinical research are available.

Preferred candidates should have experience in leadership, program building, and quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) while working as a member of a traditional transplantation multidisciplinary team.

Salary range would be $548,000 to $625,000 depending on rank (Associates Professor or Full Professor)
