Job Description

Job Overview
  • Start Date: As soon as privileged (~90-120 days)
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Patient Volume:
    • Average daily census - 35 trauma, 35 Emergency GS.
    • AM Case loads: approx. 3-4 cases. Overnight: 1-2 cases per night
    • EGS consults (24hrs): Average 10 consultation/intraop consultation
    • Trauma ICU/Stepdown census: 15
    • Approx. 3600 trauma activations per year
    • Approx 2-3 operative traumas per week
  • Job Details: 12hr in house shifts (days and/or nights) also have some 15hr and/or 24hr call coverage/various shifts of the week. Will have APP and surgical resident support
  • Client Requirements: Board Certification, recent trauma case logs, Covid Vax
  • EMR: Epic
  • Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will cover malpractice.
