The Nephrology Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dialysis Access Surgeon to join one of California’s leading independent nephrology organizations in Fresno.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in dialysis access creation, revision, maintenance, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary nephrology and interventional access program.

Position Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Creation of AV fistulas and AV grafts
- Complex dialysis access revisions
- Access salvage procedures
- Management of central venous disease
- PD catheter placement and revision
- Collaboration on access surveillance and maintenance programs
- Participation in multidisciplinary vascular access conferences
Program Development
- Assist in expanding dialysis access services across the region
- Help develop outpatient access pathways
- Participate in quality improvement and outcome tracking
- Collaborate with nephrology leadership on strategic initiatives
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery or General Surgery with dialysis access expertise
- Fellowship training preferred
- Experience in hemodialysis access procedures
- Interest in multidisciplinary kidney care
- Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- AV fistula maturation procedures
- Hybrid endovascular/open access techniques
- Access center or outpatient-based procedural experience
- Interest in innovation and program building
