Full-Time Vascular Surgery Locums Job | Eastern Florida Coast | October Start

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the eastern Florida coast that is seeking full-time locum tenens coverage beginning the first week of October 2025 and ongoing. The facility will need coverage primarily in the hospital, but requires candidates that are flexible and willing to work in the clinic/outpatient center as often as needed.

Coverage Need + Specific Schedule: 
* Seeking full-time coverage starting October + ongoing (open to locum to perm)
* Weekday shifts will be 8-hours in the OR or clinic each day & night/weekend call rotation at either 1:2 or 1:3
* Will work two days per week (M/W) in the clinic + two days a week (Tues/Thurs) in the OR & will rotate Friday in the OR and clinic each week 

Some specific shifts they'd love to get covered are below but they will consider any Q4 availability that you have:
- 7am 10/27 - 7am 11/3
- 7am 11/7 - 7am 11/12
- 7am 11/25 - 7am 12/1
- 7am 12/8 - 7am 12/11
- 7am 12/22 - 7am 1/2/26

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
- Must be able to provide up to date case logs 
- Prefer as clean of a background possible
- Active Florida license + current DEA required
- Vascular Board Certified and/or Fellowship trained required + must do endovascular

Details for Assignment #108393:
-- Bread & Butter Vascular Surgery inpatient & outpatient coverage 
-- Clinic: average of 25 PPD split between providers, ablations done in clinic, full vascular ultrasound lab onsite (does own reads), can do procedures in cath lab if desired, WILL have APP support 
-- OR: will spend ~2 days/week in the OR, will have experienced APP support in OR (1st assist)
-- Will do an average of 5 procedures/shift while in the OR (depending on surgery lengths)
-- Inpatient call: covering attached & unattached, will have APP support / 1st assist (APPs do not round), average of 5-8 PPD in the hospital 
-- Will have an APP follow you in clinic & in the OR (doing 1st assist) and will take call in tandem (they do not round with you, however) 
-- Inpatient duties will include daily patient rounding, scheduled procedures, emergent procedures, new consults & follow up consults
-- Will have the option to do procedures in the cath lab (if desired, not required)
-- Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
-- Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, Athena EMR
