We are seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon at Pinellas Vascular in Tampa/St Pete. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) focused on delivering cutting-edge vascular and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on Embolic procedures (GAE, UFE), and vascular disease treatment. Job Responsibilities
Perform Vascular Procedures and open surgeries. 5 days a week, M-F with call coverage 1 week every 5 weeks. You will obtain hospital privileges at HCA Northside. Possibility to do 1 day per week at Advent Health Carrollwood.
Practice Building and engaging in practice development, including community outreach and patient education.
Collaborate: Benefit from affiliation with a network of vascular centers and experienced administrative structure. Work closely with supportive staff, APPs and other Providers
Qualifications
• MD or DO Vascular Surgeon
• Board Certified
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
• Preferably 3+ years of vascular experience
• Willingness to engage in practice building and community outreach
Working Hours
8am to 5pm Monday through Friday office hours with shared call schedule. Hospital call approximately 1/5 split.
Skills
Expertise in Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) treatments, ablations, embolizations, dialysis access, and venous interventions preferred.
Proficient in interventional surgery techniques with minimal diagnostic imaging.
Strong patient-care focus with the ability to provide compassionate, efficient patient care.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and community outreach.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships within a network of referring Providers.
Leadership potential and a proactive approach to practice growth and development.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting required.
Adaptability in using advanced medical technology and staying updated on interventional procedures.
