Job Details

• Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neurovascular Care for a maternity leave from December 2025 - March 2026.
• Schedule Requirements:
  • Day and Night Shifts, 12 hrs per shift
  • Nights and weekend availability are REQUIRED
  • On call: 3 shifts/week
• NP will not be working autonomously, supervising physician will always be available by phone if not present on site.
• 3 Neurosurgeons in practice
• Patient Demographic: Adult & Geriatric
• EMR: EPIC
• Required Duties: Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Test, Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care
  • Additional duties: first response to any code stroke alert within the facility
• Credentialingtimeline: 120 days
  • No temps or emergency privileges

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified NP (AANP) - REQUIRED
• Active VA license - REQUIRED
• ACLS and ENLS - REQUIRED
• Neurovascular experience - Highly preferred (no new grads)
• CDS Certification and DEA Registration - REQUIRED
