Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Urgent Care Physician located in Sarasota, FL. The Urgent Care Physician will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with urgent or emergency medical needs. Daily tasks include diagnosing and treating illnesses, minor injuries, and other health conditions, conducting examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. The role also involves providing patient education, advising on preventive healthcare measures, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Commitment to continual professional development and staying current with medical advancements
