Job Description
Facility is seeking an Urgent Care Medical Director to lead its practice
--The position is a 100% clinical role that carries additional Medical Director responsibilities.
--Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, or Occupational Health.
--Clinical Duties: In this role, you will care for patients with non-emergent illnesses and injuries, performing procedures such as laceration repair, wart removal, and incision and drainage and joint injections. The facility is equipped with an on-site laboratory and digital X-ray, allowing for prompt, on-site interpretation.
--Leadership & Oversight: Key responsibilities include overseeing and working closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), driving quality improvement initiatives, and conducting chart reviews.
--Occupational Medicine: You will lead employer health services, including the management of workers’ compensation injury care, DOT physicals, and employer partnerships.
--Operations: You will oversee the development of clinical protocols and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
--NRCME and MRO certification are required. While these certifications are required, the hospital will assist the right candidate in obtaining them within the first 90 days.
--Experience: Prior leadership experience and a background in urgent care and occupational medicine are strongly preferred but not strictly required.
--Guaranteed base salary plus commencement bonus, relocation assistance, and potential loan repayment or residency stipends.
