Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality, comprehensive medical care to patients across a variety of needs. You will work both independently and alongside physicians and clinical staff to diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions, and promote wellness and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions in compliance with California regulations

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with California state guidelines

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and procedures

Provide patient and family education focused on treatment plans and preventive care

Accurately document all patient encounters and care plans in the EHR (NextGen experience preferred)

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

Maintain compliance with California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) standards

Stay current with evidence-based practices and clinical advancements
Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)

Active and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license
-
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or relevant specialty

New graduate Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply

Experience with NextGen EHR strongly preferred

Spanish-speaking or bilingual skills preferred to support patient communication

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of California healthcare laws and scope of practice

Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
