Urology Physician Locums Job in Michigan | Clinic + Call | Beginning June 22 – Ongoing | Assignment #114410

Coverage Details
-- Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 8 AM – 4 PM
-- Friday clinic hours: 8 AM – 12 PM
-- Monday and Friday clinic coverage required; Monday clinic coverage subject to change
-- Daily clinic coverage combined with 24-hour call (final confirmation pending)
-- Dual facility coverage

Call Details
-- 24-hour call coverage required
-- Weeknight and weekend call coverage
-- Weekend call rotation in place; rotation structure may vary
-- Current state: Approximately 20 days/month covered by physician group (includes weekends); remaining 10 days covered by locums
-- Rotations currently split into 3–5 day blocks; 10 consecutive days preferred if realistic
-- Average call per 24 hours: Approximately 7.5 total call hours
-- Average callback hours per 24-hour call shift: Approximately 4.5 hours
-- Call coverage spans two affiliated facilities
-- APP support available (four APPs on staff; limited availability on Fridays)

Operating Room Coverage
-- Both scheduled and emergency surgeries required

Required Procedures / Skills
-- General urological procedures required
-- Robot-trained strongly preferred
-- Vasectomies preferred, not required

Assignment Details
-- Weekly schedule includes a mix of operating room, clinic, and call coverage
-- Inpatient and outpatient urology coverage
-- Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
-- Unit size:
-- One facility with approximately 76 beds
-- One facility with approximately 250 beds
-- Trauma coverage includes Level III and Level IV facilities

Requirements
-- Board certified
-- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience
-- Comfortable taking charge
