Urology Physician Locums Job in Michigan | 24-Hour Call Coverage | June 10 - Ongoing | Assignment #114767
Coverage Details
-- Beginning June 10, 2026 - Ongoing
-- Credentialing time frame: approximately 60 days
Shift Details
-- 24-hour call coverage, 7am–7am
-- Beeper call; provider not required to remain onsite
-- Response time to be onsite within 20 minutes
Requirements
-- Board certified in Urology
-- Michigan state license
-- Fellowship – Highly Preferred
-- Practice setting: inpatient
-- Patients per shift: approximately 1–5
-- Average call volume: 2–4 calls per night and 1–2 expected onsite call-ins
-- Average onsite call-back hours: 2–4 hours per day
-- Rounding and discharge responsibilities on new admissions and inpatient census
-- Common hospital procedures include kidney stones, CBI consults, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements
-- EMR: Athena and Cerner
-- Facility Trauma Level: 2
-- Resident or teaching supervision required
