Job Details:

• Setting:  Inpatient - Uro Hospitalist
• Job Duties:  Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon

• Patient Volume:  Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also
• Required Procedures:  Stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc.
• MUST BE COMFORTABLE with:  Trauma/open procedures – i.e., gunshot wounds that involve kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc.

• EMR: EPIC
• No AP support on weekends
• Client Requirements:  Locums MUST HAVE an active SC license, SC CSR, a DEA that is permanently registered in SC, and be a BC urology
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
