Division Chief, Urology - Columbia, SC

PRISMA Health, the largest health system in South Carolina is actively recruiting the next Division Chief of Urology to direct and grow clinical operations across a multi-hospital network including a large teaching facility and other locations designed to serve a defined clinical need across Prisma Health's Midlands market (1M+ population).

Urology Division Chief in Columbia, SC:

Lead and grow the urology service line throughout Central South Carolina (1M+ population) consisting of multiple hospitals (1,000+ beds), surgery centers, and outpatient practices

Uro-hospitalist support to limit inpatient responsibiliites for faculty - the Chief will oversee the growth of subspecialty programs in the division, including recruitment efforts to onboard fellowship-trained faculty.

State of the art facilities: da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, the only Video Urodynamics lab in the state, and Artemis MRI Fusion Technology.

General and plastic surgery residents rotate on the service along with University of South Carolina - Columbia medical school students and there is clearly the potential for development of a urologic surgery training program

The successful candidate is committed to clinical excellence and interest in expansion of the division and associated multidisciplinary partnerships. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching, leadership and research and a track record of successful team leadership.
