Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular conditions including arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders.
  • Perform both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient consultations, preoperative evaluations, and postoperative follow-ups. 
  • Participate in call rotation to provide emergency vascular coverage.
  • Provide mentorship and education for medical students, residents, and fellows (if applicable).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews. 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of a general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship.
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure. 
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in a hospital-based setting.
