Wound Management job located in Connecticut

A Health System serving 1.5 million residents across New York and Connecticut has an opening for a Medical Director of Wound Care in southwest Connecticut. About the Opportunity:

• 66-bed teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
• This is an exciting growth opportunity, featuring additional outpatient community programs and opportunities for advancement in hyperbaric medicine.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Supervision. However, an interest in and/or a desire to learn these specialties will also be considered, and hyperbaric training will be provided to a candidate with wound care experience.
• Wound care and HBO certification are desired but not required.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing physician and some prior experience in wound care, including management, leadership, or administrative experience. Additionally, a minimum of 40 hours of Hyperbaric certification is required to be a Medical Director.
• Flexible work schedule Monday - Friday, 8 hours, sometime between 7 AM - 5 PM.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Financial Package:

• This is a full-time position with a robust compensation package, including a base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401 (k) match.
