Wound Care Physician Locums Job in Ohio | Monday-Friday | December 22 – March 31 | Assignment #112536
Coverage Details

-- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-- Temporary privileging may be available
Requirements
-- Active Ohio license
-- BLS
-- ACLS – Highly Preferred for HBO
Required Duties
-- Treating Skin Reactions
-- Preventing Skin Breakdown
-- Treating and Managing Vascular Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers, and Diabetic Ulcers
-- Initiating Preventative Measures
-- Providing Comprehensive Wound Management
-- Applying Topical Therapies
-- Educating Patients and Support on Care Techniques
-- Assessing and Treating Draining Wounds and Fistulae
-- Implementing Preventative Actions to Reduce Pressure and Vascular Ulcers
-- Instruction on Proper Wound Dressing
-- Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Supervision
Types of Wounds Treated
-- Acute Wounds (Inflammatory, Proliferative, Remodeling Phases)
-- Surgical Wounds
-- Traumatic Wounds (Scrapes, Punctures, Tears, Burns)
-- Surgical Non-Healing Wounds
-- Ulcers (Arterial, Pressure, Venous, Diabetic)
-- Chronic Venous Insufficiency
-- Pilonidal Cysts, Gangrene, Radiation Injury, Burns
